My October Budget – Paying things on time
My Budget – Friday, I registered my vehicle before the plates expired. Today I paid my rent. I need to renew my nursing license which comes due on my birthday which is coming way to fast (next week!) then I start working on the bills I sorted through with my brand spankin new budget. The major wrench in this plan is getting the extra to do the work for my sticker – three tires, tie rod end, plus wheel bearing.
There is good news with my budget – my car insurance went down $35 a month and I refinanced my student loan to a payment I can afford as I get back on my feet – car and housing, mostly. So I can make my student loan payment on time this month.
Let’s see how close I make it through this budget this month without losing ground on my plan (it’s very basic as everything is very new for me now)
The main goal this month as my first month on this “budget” is to pay the agreed amount, either on time or a bit early to avoid any late fees or bad press at the credit bureaus. It’s going to slow and steady but at least it’s something for me to shoot for AND achieve.
