Three Day Weekend Fiasco – Screwed Up Car Insurance
Debt Crunch – Car Insurance I’m ticked ~ Major set back. I sent in my car insurance payment 3 days before it was due and simply assumed it was all set only to get a letter today (two weeks later) informing me that my auto insurance policy was cancelled for non-payment. The kicker is I got the letter on a Saturday of a three day weekend (Monday is Martin Luther King Jr Day here in the States) so I can’t talk to anyone about where my check may have ended up until Tuesday. If they don’t locate it I will need to start over because this payment I sent two weeks ago was the last installment and I was going to have four months on NO payments. I was looking forward to four months of extra money. UGH! Back to the drawing board! My next car insurance company will do everything online. I’m thinking Progressive which my daughters use.
